Your safety is of paramount importance. In order to minimise the risk from COVID-19; I have put in place the following measures, in accordance with guidelines from the Institute of Sport and Remedial Massage:
Client and Therapist: - Client will be screened for COVID-19 symptoms via an online form ahead of the appointment and screened again at the time of appointment to confirm that neither the Client nor any members of their household have any signs of COVID-19; results of these will be recorded onto the client's notes; - Client to adhere to social distancing (during consultation process, note taking, exercise advice, although not possible during hands on treatment) and hygiene protocols; - Client and Therapist to wear a face covering for the duration of time spent inside the treatment room; - additionally, the Therapist will wear a face visor during close-contact treatment; - the Therapist shall be the only person to open doors; - payment should be by bank transfer or cash; if the latter is used, hands shall be sanitised after the transaction; - Client and Therapist will sanitise their hands on entering the treatment room and again upon leaving. In addition, I will adhere to the following: - towels and couch covers to be washed at 60 degrees between each Client and couch to be wiped clean; - a minimum gap of 15 minutes between each Client will be observed, with the room being ventilated during this period; - surfaces will be cleaned between each Client (eg face visor, doorhandles, massage lotion container); - if the Client is in an 'at risk' group, it is recommended that they seek guidance from a GP first; - if the Client cancels because they are unwell, any cancellation fee shall be waived.
If the weather allows, I will do the consultation and any follow up advice outdoors when appropriate. I have an NHS COVID Test and Trace QR code available for clients to scan should they wish to do so.
